Tours launch from Massachusetts Cranberries’ mini education barn in Carver, allowing visitors to delve into learning about historic farm equipment, educational displays and to purchase fresh cranberries and cranberry products on site.
Attendees board chartered school buses and travel up close to an active wet cranberry harvest. Well informed tour guides discuss harvest techniques, farming tactics, and everything there is to know about native cranberries. Bus tours are popular and sell out early. Visitors are advised to book early in the season to enjoy this enjoyable experience with powerful red floating berries, Massachusetts’ official state fruit.
Massachusetts Cranberries also offers large group coach tours for tourism groups and school-age tour programs throughout the year, with low group rates and free parking for buses and vehicles on site.
Cranberry Harvest Bus Tour general admission tickets are $20, available at cranberries.org/cranberry-bog-bus-tours. Barn location and additional tour information is issued with ticket purchase confirmation. The education barn’s retail products and fresh berries are available for purchase by cash or major credit cards during tour hours.
