South Shore Conservatory announces holiday concert schedule

WICKED LOCAL.com – South Shore Conservatory announced its schedule of free holiday concerts.

The schedule is as follows:

11 a.m. Dec. 10: Staff songbirds sing holiday favorites at Ellison Center for the Arts, 64 St. George St., Duxbury. This event features vocalists Anne Smith-White, Beth MacLeod Largent, Holly Jennings and Eve Montague, presenting traditional songs such as “Oh, Holy Night.” The morning performance ends with a “The 12 Days of Christmas” sing-along. Sponsored by The Village at Duxbury.

11 a.m. Dec. 11: Holiday favorites at Laura’s Center for the Arts, 97 Mill St., Hanover. This event features SSC performers Holly Jennings, voice; Donald Zook, flute; and Sarah Troxler, piano. Underwritten by Diane and Gary Glick, this event showcases songs such “Keep Christmas with You,” “Silent Night,” and songs from “The Nutcracker Suite,” plus a holiday sing-along.

7 p.m. Dec. 11: SSC Community Voices at Ellison Center for the Arts, 64 St. George St., Duxbury. This performance is co-conducted by Amanda Reopell, MT-BC, and Jocelyn Khoo, MT-BC, with music therapy intern Lauren Kaufman.

7 p.m. Dec. 11: SSC Community Voices Too! at Laura’s Center for the Arts, 97 Mill St., Hanover. A presentation of seasonal songs, conductors for this performance are Kari O’Briant, MT-BC and Jennifer Pearl.

SSC Community Voices and SSC Community Voices, Too! choruses begin their next session in January; new singers and peer mentors are welcome.
