The Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation serves communities within Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Its mission is to enrich the lives of families and children who are burdened by life’s challenges by providing access to vital resources including, but not limited to: health and mental health services, food and shelter. Funding is awarded twice/year to nonprofit organizations that provide vital services and programming.

“Our mission is powerful in its simplicity,” Executive Director Melanie Cordeiro said in a statement. “We provide access to vital resources that most people take for granted – visiting a doctor, talking to a counselor, having enough food to eat, having a place to call home, or sleeping in a bed.”
