McGRATHPR.com – Americana Theatre Company (ATC), Plymouth’s professional theatre company, presents the spooky captivating play The Legend of Sleepy Hollow on select dates from October 12 through 28, 7 pm, at First Parish of Plymouth’s Kendall Hall, 19 Town Square, Plymouth.

Originally written in 1820, Washington Irving’s haunting narrative The Legend of Sleepy Hollow tells the story of a local schoolmaster whose lonely journey home tuns into a night of delightful terror when he is met on the road by the Headless Horseman. This classic tale was reimagined for Americana Theatre Company by founding Artistic Director, Derek Martin as a one-man show 45-minute performance sure to delight from beginning to end.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow features rising star actor Stephen Pugh. Pugh has adorned the stage and performed in nearly 100 separate productions. He proudly makes his debut with Americana Theatre Company having recently moved to #Boston from #Orlando, #Florida this past summer. He’s worked as a professional actor at theaters such as Orlando Repertory Theatre, Winter Garden Theatre and Orlando Shakespeare Theater. He performed for audiences from around the world at Universal Studios Florida in the role of Beetlejuice and the #holiday favorite The Grinch. This summer he directed Annie The Musical with Boston Children’s Theatre. Favorite roles include classics such as Mysterious Man in Into The Woods, Injun Joe in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer the Musical, Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire, Seitz in Disney’s Newsies and King Julian of Madagascar the Musical Adventure. Pugh appears in Universal Studios Entertainment’s promotional #video “Real Reactions” of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Director Tim Ritter’s feature film Testament. “Act Well Your Part, There All The Honor Lies!”
