 – The Academy of The Company Theatre (A.C.T.) and A.C.T. Conservatory present student actors from across the South Shore in the musical theatre classic CATS, from April 20 through 29, at The Company Theatre Center for Performing Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell.  CATS’ music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot.  The production is directed by Zoe Bradford and Jordie Saucerman, with music direction by Melissa Carubia and choreography by Sally Forrest.

It is that one special night of the year – the night of the Jellicle Ball – where all the cats come out to play. In CATS, one by one they tell their stories to Old Deuteronomy, their wise leader, who will choose one special cat to be re-born into her extra precious 9th life! Based on T.S. Eliot’s whimsical poems, Andrew Lloyd Weber’s international phenomenon comes alive with felines of all shapes and sizes, dancing and singing the Tony Award® winning score, including Grizabella’s haunting “Memory”.

A.C.T. was founded in 1987 by Zoe Bradford, Michael Joseph and Jordie Saucerman, with a mission to discover the creative spirit in each child in an enjoyable and challenging atmosphere and to build self-confidence through the experience of the arts.

Tickets for CATS are $18 for students, $20 for adults, available at  For a complete performance schedule, to order tickets, or for more information, call the box office at 781-871-2787, email, or visit  The box office is open Monday to Friday from 11 am to 6 pm, and during all performances.
