McGRATHPR.com – Friends in Song a cappella vocal ensemble presents a touring concert series this spring with performances in Norwell, Plymouth, Duxbury and Scituate. The ensemble is directed by William B. Richter.
Till all the Seas Gang Dry: Sea Shanties and Celtic Songs offers a one-hour program of light concert repertoire. Tunes originate from the British Isles and the Celtic tradition, including ballads and contemporary selections.
The group of 14 singers, many professional musicians, have performed across the region for eight years, recognized for their tightly woven harmonies and joyous concerts. Vocalists reside on the South Shore and Cape Cod, featuring Diana Barnes, Larry Carlson, Caroline Chapin, Carol Cybulska, Brian Dudley, Todd Herrmann, Lynne Hare, Chris Holl, Kate Holl, Anne Jones, Dan Miot, Michelle McGrath, Music Director William B. Richter and Sally Tucker. Admission to each concert is free, donations gratefully appreciated.
