Bo Winiker Orchestra Takes Center Stage at South Shore Conservatory

HINGHAM PATCH.com – Evenings Under the Stars (EUS) presents the Bo Winiker Orchestra showcasing American Popular Music on Saturday, July 21 at 7 p.m. in the Jane Carr Amphitheater at One Conservatory Drive, Hingham.

During this special evening of American Popular Music, audience members will relive famous moments in jazz history, take a journey to Tin Pan Alley, experience nostalgic radio hits from the 30’s to the present,  and listen to musical highlights from Broadway, the movies and the Grammys.  In addition they’ll learn interesting tidbits about the songwriters and lyricists, with fun musical anecdotes and a pinch of musical trivia thrown in.

The Bo Winiker Orchestra is the third of four EUS Saturday night concerts.  The remaining concert, on Saturday, July 28, 7 p.m., is Opera Under the Stars, an intimate evening of selections from beloved operas and operettas.

Although limited onsite parking is available for handicapped patrons, parking for Saturday night concerts for the public is at the Hingham School Bus Depot.  A free parking shuttle is provided on site.

Tickets purchased before the day of the concert are $35 for pavilion and $20 for lawn.  Lawn tickets purchased at the door are $25.  There is no charge for children under three.  Performances are held rain or shine.  Refreshments, beer, wine, hot dogs and munchies are available at the concession stands.
